Dry needling is a practice based on the treatment of trigger points with acupuncture needles. It is perfect for chronic and acute pain related to muscular issues. The session focuses on the area where your pain starts and helps to release the muscles related to that area to create balance. It differs from acupuncture in that the focus is on trigger points, the needles are often not retained and the practitioner will be with you the entire session releasing each area. Dry needling is a more intense , yet extremely, effective experience for pain conditions.
